If you need urgent support for your mental health but can ensure your safety for a short period until you are able to access a medical appointment, you can contact your GP surgery and ask for an Emergency or ‘same day’ appointment. You will be provided with an appointment with the next available doctor who will discuss your current difficulties and consider the appropriate next steps for managing your care.
